CMS/Project Manager/CRM/ Microsoft/Prince2. A Project Manager is urgently required to join a talented team of individuals to contribute to a large scale business transformation working within a Prince2 environment.
This is a hybrid project management role working across CRM implementation; data centre renewal, web front end design and new builds of CMS. Reporting to the Delivery Manager your main responsibilities will include meeting with business users to gather a project brief and then set out a project plan using Prince 2 methodology. Projects will range from infrastructure through to application development but will be exclusively IT related therefore adaptability and flexibility is absolutely key.
Typically the projects you will be responsible for managing will be between £100K-£1million. You will adopt a close working relationship with finance and procurement in order to keep projects profitable and be comfortable talking up and down the chain of command managing anything up to a team of 5. You will also provide continued support to the Project and Programme Director and be comfortable in raising issues and concerns as and when they arise there for strong communications skills are a must.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate considerable experience in project management (Prince2 certification is preferred) along with a good understanding of PM methodology and be a competent MS Excel user.
A strong academic background is also preferred but is not essential.
It is imperative that all applicants possess strong communication skills and can successfully lead a team through programmes of change.
