The well regarded internal audit function of this diverse group covers a wide range of interesting work spanning both operational and financial reviews as well as SOx work and increasingly, exposure to project work such as acquisition integration and investigations. The team cover a wide range of the group's operations all over the world so this is an opportunity that will appeal to those who love to travel. You can expect to travel for 75% of the time across Central and Southern America, the USA, South Africa, Europe and Australia. Though the travel is high, the business is conveniently headquartered in London and also has a "work from home" policy (with manager approval)
Reporting to Audit Manager level, as one of the audit team you will primarily be responsible for the delivery of the audit fieldwork. However there will also be the opportunity to lead assignments so offering increased responsibility and exposure. You will also undertake follow up reviews of outstanding actions, supplementary or ad-hoc reports for the business and development of audit recommendations.
As the ideal candidate, you will:
Have a university degree and ideally be studying for or have attained a relevant accounting or audit qualification
Have 3-5 years of Internal Audit experience - ideally within a US multinational corporation
Have strong communication skills and be confident and credible when interacting with senior stakeholders
Be fluent in both English and another language
Be eligible to work within the UK without sponsorship
