A Senior Technical Infrastructure Architect is required to join a leading IT Services Organisation to be the technical authority on a mixture of pre-sales and post-sales solutions delivery. This is an excellent opening for Lead Infrastructure Architects to join an organisation with excellent project openings and who puts an emphasis on training and career progression. The role holder will work over a variety of projects including Infrastructure, data centre, networks, storage workplace, SharePoint, Unified Comms, Disaster Recovery, Collaboration, Virtualisation, Sustainability (Greener IT) and Security Technology arenas.
There is more than 1 role available and the successful Infrastructure Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: overseeing the design of customer solutions in large scale and complex environments, working in a Consultancy capacity to advise clients on IT solutions and how they will satisfy customer requirements, working on bid activities to sign-off pre-sales solutions, presenting to senior level clients internally and externally, conversing with non-technical clients to ensure they understand suggested solutions and ensuring you keep abreast of new technologies.
Interested candidates will need to have a proven track record of delivering Enterprise level Infrastructure solutions where you have taken accountability for the technical design. You will have expert technical skills across at least two of the following technical areas: Infrastructure, data centre, networks, storage workplace, SharePoint, Unified Comms, Disaster Recovery, Collaboration, Virtualisation, Sustainability (Greener IT) or Security.
