The Infrastructure Architect will be able to define technical communication strategy and provide technical design assurance and guidance to technical teams and non-technical service managers. This is an excellent opening for experienced Infrastructure Architects who have experience of virtualisation technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V and also technologies such as Citrix and Active Directory, to join an organisation that invests heavily within their workforce where you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to their success.
The Infrastructure Architect's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: conducting functional and non-functional requirement gathering and analysis for the purpose of solution design/ architecture and building highly scalable and robust IT infrastructure architecture and design as per the customer requirement. You would also be required to evaluate new technologies and be ready to recommend technical products in various areas such as Cloud, end user computing, storage and server and to create and lead virtual communities of technical infrastructure architects and to provide view points on new technologies and areas like Virtualisation, Green IT and Cloud Computing.
Interested candidates will need to have proven expertise within the definition of architecture for business solutions, and will need to understand industry best practices for Technical Architecture. You will need commercial experience of designing Infrastructure solutions, covering: virtualisation, such as VMWare ESXI and Citrix Xenserver, cloud computing and Green IT.
