An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Control manager with our client in Glasgow.
Role purpose.
To work with the Acting Fire Control Manager to ensure that all legal requirements across the entire state are fulfilled. To ensure that all such systems are properly maintained. To design and manage improvements to those systems. To ensure that proper records are kept at all times.
Required skills and experience
Experience in the fire service or equivalent in industry
Will have practical experience of fire risk assessment: expertise in the power sector desirable
Should have knowledge of fire control systems and knowledge of industry
Should have experience of managing contracts and projects
Ability to be pro-active in helping set direction of SP fire control policies and procedures
Good general IT and communications skills
SAP experience an advantage
