Experis Finance are currently recruiting for a qualified (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) Project Accountant to be based in Bristol on an 18 month contract. You will be responsible for manging 10 staff and overseeing associated projects and disciplines globally to Collate, analyse, report and forecast information from the different project teams.
Responsibilities for the role will include;

Quarterly Project Margin Reviews

Calculate percentage-of-completion accounting entries

Reconcile revenue and cost of sales to reporting modules

Proactively manage contractual Variation Order opportunities

Forecast revenues, margin and cash-flow for assigned projects
Prepare comprehensive management reports for assigned projects
Produce monthly Project Third Party Invoices for assigned projects

Completion of analysis for close out of historic projects

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for Projects balance sheet accounts
You will ideally have knowlege of US GAAP,
a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complec Finance issues
and an understanding of an engineering environment or high value projects/ products.
