Experis currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a highly motivated and experienced Data Warehouse Developer, to supplement a Warrington based client's existing Software Engineering teams.

The primary purpose of this role is to work as part of a team to design and build a data repository to store the client's key data for reporting accurately and consistently up to Executive Management level.

The Data Warehouse Developer will be working in a small Software Engineering department, whose primary function is to provide bespoke software applications and components for use within the IT estate.

The successful candidate will have excellent data and dimensional analysis skills, they will have an excellent background in Cube development and Data Warehousing, MS Business Intelligence Development Studio - SISS, SQL Server, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Share point and MDS skills are a must. The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate their experience of scripting using C# and will have excellent XML skills.

Candidates should have a sound analytical mind and be able to clearly design and effectively communicate detailed software solutions. An understanding of various design methodologies such as RUP and AGILE is expected, as will be the ability to demonstrate the merits of each and their suitable application to project delivery. An appreciation of the roles of Architecture, Business Analysis and Test functions within the project lifecycle would be an advantage.
