A Digital Security Delivery Manager is required for an initial 10 month contract with one of the world's leading energy companies.
This role will have primary accountability for ensuring that security is adequately addressed within projects including:
1. the security of the end solution and project deliverables; and
2. the management of digital security risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
* Leading and defining the approach and delivery of the security within assigned projects
* Manage groups from the business in order to identify, design, build, test and deploy adequate security controls, which address the digital security risks to the satisfaction of the business and in compliance to the minimum standards.
* Ensure compliance to relevant regulation.
* Ensure that digital security risks are managed within the project team throughout the life-time of the project.
* Ensure that Digital Security policies, standards and processes are correctly followed by the project.
Candidates should have the following experience and knowledge:
* Strong academic knowledge of digital security technology and process, together with an externally recognised Information Security accreditation e.g. CISSP, CISM, M. Inst ISP.
* Proven experience in delivery of security solutions within a variety of IT projects.
* Strong understanding of system development methodologies (classic waterfall and agile methodologies) and how security can be engineered within them.
* Formal / structured IT security risk assessment methodology
* Proficiency in the security risks associated with implementing in the following technologies:
o TCP/IP Networking
o Platforms: Windows, Unix, Linux
o Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, SAP
o Web/Application server(s): Microsoft, Apache
o Cloud computing
