Role purpose / summary
- Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS
- Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift
- Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control
- Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling - given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs
- Extensive experience of Linux, including scripting, etc.
Key Skills/ requirements
- Experience of deploying to Azure
- Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment
- We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plus
- AWS as initial hosting provider
- Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes
- Apache Jena
- Elastic
- PostGIS
- Kafka
- Apache NiFi
- AWS Cognito
- HTTP REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces
- Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as React
