A Desktop Analyst is required for an initial 3 month contract based in Tunbridge Wells for a leading financial services company.
An experienced technical analyst is required with an excellent record in an end user computing analyst role.
The ideal candidate will be very Customer facing but also needs to understands the Desktop and the linkage to the backend infrastructure as well. Performing all the front end Windows 7, office 2010, VDI, Wyse thin client connection support issues.
They need to be the link between the Project business IT support team onsite, and office technical teams, owning issues and liaising back for a resolution.
Candidates must have a strong experience & understanding of most of the following technologies:. Windows 7 and Windows XP SP2/SP3 operation systems
XenApp 6.5
XenDesktop 5.5 being accessed via WYSE Xenith Thin Client Devices
SCCM/CA desktop management and deployment products
Also an understanding of the following technologies would be desirable:
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft Windows Software Update Services
Office 2003 & 2007, MS Communicator
Windows Server 2003 & 2008 and DNS. VMWare ESX
Application Virtualisation using Microsoft App-V. AppSense 8
