Reporting to the relevant Configuration Manager.
Day to day responsibilities:
* Configuration Management planning.
* Managing engagement with stakeholders. Linkages to other areas that may be dealing with CM related functions (Asset, License Management).
* Identifying Configuration Items (CMDB).
* Version/Baseline Management.
* Ensuring adherence to Change Control standards.
* Ensuring adherence to Security Guidelines regarding protective marking of CI's and handling of Media.
* Undertaking Configuration Status Accounting - (i.e. Reporting of the current status of all CI's within the Engineering Environments).
Skills:
Good networking, communication and influencing skills
Attention to detail
Experience of Configuration Management (Windows based
server/client environment)
Experience with Test Management process (test lifecycle and defect management).
Knowledge of ITIL (V2 and V3), CMMI and other CM best practice
Candidate must hold DV Clearance or be willing to undergo relevant checks.
