A Cobol Developer with some commercial exposure to: Unix, ISIS, Staffware, VB, C, C++ or the Oracle Development Suite is required to take responsibility for the design, production and component test of software to meet the business requirements as documented in technical system requirements documentation. The successful Cobol Developer's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: assisting the team leader in the analysis of requirements, the viability of proposals and the preparation of resource estimates. You will design, specify and document the required system components as proscribed within the Development Methodology and design documentation produced that meets the prescribed criteria and is signed off by the Development Manager. You will also need to code and test each software component ensuring adherence to the levels detailed within the Development Methodology.
