Our client requires a CLAS consultant based in Wiltshire on a 6 month contract.
Essential skills and experience:
Accreditation of systems at DEFEND level, production of RMADS, SyOPs, risk assessments, and risk treatment plans. Candidates must be DV cleared or willing to undergo the process.
Desirable skills and experience:
Working with MOD and within MOD security policy; outline technical security knowledge of Windows operating systems; IP networking; encryption policy, techniques and planning; active and passive computer network defence; evaluating system security from first principles. Detailed technical security knowledge; network security operations; deployed systems.
Personal qualities and general skills:
Flexible, self-motivated and confident team player; able to work under pressure in a busy team of military and civilians to deliver outputs in a dynamic environment, often needing to develop novel solutions and security arguments from first principles, and with priorities frequently changing; communication and interpersonal skills suitable for dealing with suppliers, other MOD and government agencies, NATO and defence agencies in other nations.
