An Information Security Consultant is required to join an International Information Technology Services company. The Information Security Consultant will sit within the Business Risk and Security Practice and will combine a pragmatic view of Security with an understanding of business drivers and legal and compliance requirements. The Information Security Consultant will be responsible for providing high quality Information Assurance and IT Security advice and guidance. This will include deliverables driven from the ability to hold views on the multiple perspectives, which are aligned to the needs of the business. These include; National and International Security Standards, Data risk and Data Handling IA advice, IT Infrastructure and Systems Design IA advice, IT Applications IA advice and Cloud Security Advice. You would also be responsible for; Security Audits, Security Strategy and Policy Development and working with clients so that they are supported as they seek to ensure that their business services and technology comply with international standards.
Interested candidates will need to have proven expertise and practical experience of working in or with security departments of FTSE 200 companies and have practical experience of developing secure systems. You will also need to be able to present and articulate security principles to both technical and non-technical clients. If you are working towards your CLAS certification, this would be desirable.
