Role- Charging Systems Analyst
Location- London
Role Description-
My clients are a leading telecoms orgnaization looking for a Charging Analyst to provide extensive technical and operational support for Prepaid charging system. He/She will Work closely with the Vendor to ensure smooth integration and timely delivery of the solution and ensure service is delivered correct in line with the product requirements. Support charging environment, rating, subscriber accounts, recharge and promotion functions and other related external system interfaces for customer real-time charging in a mobile business background. Responsible for day to day housekeeping activities of different nodes of prepaid charging system.
Key accountabilities & Key metrics-
Responsible for daily operation and maintenance of the Huawei Intelligent Network Platform (OCS).
* Manage the data and stored procedures in database and own the in house application developed to support Voucher and SIM management
* Design of the end to end Develop close working relationships with Organization's IT, Core Network and Billing Architects, and also Business Development team to ensure IN solutions meet Organization's technical and business objectives
* Work closely with NOC, Project managers, IT team to implement changes and upgrades and migrations where necessary and provide support.
* Troubleshooting and providing assistance to Customer Service for any Charging and subscriber account related issues reported by Subscribers.
* Work in conjunction with, and take instruction from Lead Architect's and Manager's to deliver new MNO's integrated into the Full-MVNO IN solution
Skills and experience
* Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
* Knowledge of Prepaid/Telecoms technologies and troubleshooting, Preferably Huawei Online Charging System/Ericsson Charging System (HUAWEI - OCG,SCP,SMP,UVC,SMAP,CBP,USAU ; Ericsson - VS, AIR, MINSAT, SDP, CCN)
* Very good understanding of Oracle Database and its maintenance
* Good understanding of Global Disaster recovery solution of a telecom application
* Knowledge of Veritas Volume manager and Veritas clustering technologies
* Understanding of different telecom protocols like Diameter, Radius, SS7 (TCAP, CAP, MAP), SIGTRAN, SIP,SMPP,XML
* Good understanding of Unix shell scripting
* Knowledge and experience of UNIX, preferably in Linux and Solaris
* Experience in a similar operational environment
* Knowledge/experience in SQL

* Able and willing to travel within EU.
