Business Unit Contoller - Leading Global Media and Real time data provider - £42k
Business Unit Controller required for a leading information services provider.
The job holder is responsible for the leadership of a Regional Financial Controllership Team, cost effective operation and high performance of the team within the London Shared Service Centre and other remote SSC locations. .
You will be
-Responsible for managing, training, developing and maintaining a solid, business orientated, high performance regional financial controllership team of 5 professionals
-Reviewing financial statements for group and local compliance
-Monitor SOX controls
-Review balance sheets and costs
-Monitor the month end close process for the region
-Manage the relaitonships with regional tax department, group finance, internal audit, treasury and outsourced partners
You must
-ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
-Have a good understanding of IAS/IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley
-Have previous experience in a shared service centre
-Have a good understanding of tax and statutory requirements
-Have a drive and self motivation to work independently and deliver under pressure
