Radia/Windows/MSI Packages/Microsoft Scripting/Windows XP/SMS/SCCM/APP-V/Altiris/Infrastructure. My client is currently engaged in one of the largest defence projects in the UK to help provide a knowledge sharing platform. We require a team of Application Packagers to join one of the UK's leading IT consultancies to work in a fast changing, dynamic testing environment.
Operating within the Infrastructure Team you will be responsible for completing new packages and scripts as set by your team leader complete with full documentation and reporting. You will be involved in the full design life cycle from data capture through to release and throughout, identify problems that arise in a timely and professional manner. You will run reports for stakeholders and present where necessary that all design plans built are fit for purpose.
As you will represent part of the infrastructure team you will also be required to support other areas of the business including configuration engineers and desktop support to ensure all system,s are fully compatible.
Essential requirements for this role include experience in either one or more of Radia, SMS, SCCM, APP-V or Altiris. You must also be familiar with VMware, Active Directory and Windows 2003 and XP platforms.
Excellent communication skills are a must along with the ability to pass a standard BPSS clearance.
